UCL: Monaco 0-2 Juventus - Higuain brace, brilliant Alves assists
Champions League semi-final first leg: Gonzalo Higuain scored his first Champions League brace in four years as the Serie A champions beat Monaco 2-0 with two precious away goals. Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri opted to play right-back Dani Alves in midfield instead, and the tactic worked when Alves created the opener for Higuain with a brilliant long-range backheel pass. The Brazilian set up his teammate again in the second-half with a perfect cross for Higuain to volley home at close range. Monaco had a few good chances to score from set-pieces, but were kept out by Gianluigi Buffon.
