FC Copenhagen clinch 12th Danish League title with weeks to spare!

Andreas Cornelius wrote his name into the record books of FC Copenhagen as he struck in the 66th minute to earn his side a title clinching 1-1 draw at Nordsjaelland on Friday. The point gave Copenhagen a 16-point lead over hated rivals Brondby with only five games left to spare - meaning Stale Solbakken's men could now celebrate a 12th Danish league in the club's history. However, Brondby still has an opportunity to put a damper on Copenhagen celebrations as the two bitter rivals face each other in the Danish Cup final on May 25.
