Dutch Eredivisie Europa League playoffs second-leg: Utrecht pulled off an unlikely comeback when they overturned a 3-0 deficit, beating AZ Alkmaar 3-0 in regulation time to force extra-time after levelling the tie 3-3 on aggregate. The hosts almost won 4-0, but were denied by AZ goalkeeper Tim Krul, who saved a penalty in the 96th minute of stoppage time. Neither side could find the winner in extra-time, and in the end it was Nacer Barazite who scored the winning spot-kick after misses from AZ's Pantelis Hatzidiakos and Joris van Overeem. Utrecht will now progress to next season's second qualifying round of the Europa League.
