Beleaguered Real Madrid made to work for MLS All Stars penalty win

It was a match Real Madrid were tipped to win easily but in the end they barely scraped through - the Champions League winners were held to a 1-1 draw by an MLS All Star side in normal time before edging them out 4-2 in the ensuing penalty shootout. Borja Mayoral opened the scoring but the host team arguably enjoyed the better chances with Dom Dwyer notching a deserved equaliser in the 87th minute, before Marcelo netted the decisive spot-kick.
