Metz 1-5 PSG: Mbappe nets debut screamer, Neymar adds stunner!

Paris Saint-Germain's expensively assembled attacking trident of Neymar, Edinson Cavani, and Kylian Mbappe repaid the club with a scintillating performance in a 5-1 win at Metz in Ligue 1 on Friday. Cavani led the rout with a brace but it was debutant Mbappe who stole the show with a brilliant first-time hit from outside the box 14 minutes into the second half for his debut goal shortly after a nasty tackle by Benoit Assou-Ekotto which saw the former Tottenham man sent off for Metz. Mbappe's goal gave PSG the 2-1 lead and that soon became 3-1 on 69 minutes as Neymar beat his marker and curled a wonderful effort beyond Japan international Eiji Kawashima in the Metz goal. Substitute Lucas Moura added a scrappy fifth for PSG late in the game after coming on two-goal hero Cavani who scored PSG's first and fourth on the night.
