Schalke 3-1 Stuttgart: Hosts bounce back with two whirlwind goals


Schalke recovered from their defeat to Hannover with a 3-1 victory over Stuttgart at home. Nabil Bentaleb converted an early penalty kick in the third minute, but Stuttgart equalised on 40 minutes when Chadrac Akolo volleyed in from close range. The hosts started the second half with two goals in two minutes, when Naldo headed in a Bastian Oczipka free-kick and Guido Burgstaller lobbed the keeper to seal all three points.
