Cologne 0-1 Frankfurt: Dejected bottom dwellers remain pointless

Cologne's poor start to the season continued as they were defeated 1-0 at home by Frankfurt, condemning them to six straight losses in all competitions. Sebastien Haller scored the only goal of the match with a penalty on 26 minutes, after Cologne keeper Timo Horn had brought down Mijat Gacinovic in the box. The home side had a few chances to equalise, but luck was not on their side when Makoto Hasebe made a goalline clearance for Frankfurt and Yuya Osako flashed a shot over the crossbar with only the Frankfurt keeper to beat.
