RB Leipzig ended their three-game winless streak with a 2-1 victory at home over Eintracht Frankfurt.Timo Werner was at the heart of their attack and created the first goal of the game when his shot was parried away for Jean-Kevin Augustin to tuck in the rebound. Wernder then doubled the lead after pouncing on Makoto Hasebe's mistake in the second half before Ante Rebic pulled a goal back for the visitors.
