Valeri brace extends MLS record streak to nine straight games!

After breaking the MLS record last week for scoring in the most consecutive matches, Portland Timbers striker Diego Valeri scored yet again in their 3-0 victory over Orlando City, extending his MLS-record scoring streak to nine straight games. Valeri's 19th and 20th strikes of the season also puts him one goal ahead of New York City FC forward David Villa in the race for the MLS Golden Boot.
