Angers 3-3 Lyon: Silliest red card ever costs Lyon win!


Lyon looked set for a comfortable win but a silly red card meant they could only settle for a 3-3 draw at Angers. The visitors looked lively and surged to an early 3-1 lead, with goals from Diaz, Diakhiby and Depay cancelling out a Rafael own goal. But the game changed in the 50th minute when Marcelo was shown a yellow card. The defender raised his hand and accidentally knocked the card out of the referee's hand, and the referee responded by showing him a straight red! Angers took advantage and scored with Ekambi and Traore in the second half to clinch a point.
