Brazil 3-0 Chile: Paulinho, Jesus on target to eliminate Chile


Group leaders Brazil are already assured of their place in the World Cup and were ruthless in eliminating Chile from qualifying for Russia 2018, thanks to a Paulinho strike and a double from Gabriel Jesus. Paulinho opened the scoring on 55 minutes when Claudio Bravo spilled Dani Alves's free-kick, and Jesus made it 2-0 two minutes later. A late equaliser from Peru's match against Colombia meant that Chile needed a draw to qualify, but Jesus grabbed his second in the 93rd minute of stoppage time after Bravo's gamble in going up for a Chile corner kick failed.
