Leverkusen 2-1 Cologne: Bender volley trumps Cologne throw-in!

Bayer Leverkusen defeated rivals Cologne 2-1 in their Rhine derby, but were forced to work for their win when Cologne took the lead on 23 minutes from Frederik Sorensen's superb long throw-in, which was converted by Sehrou Guirassy. Leon Bailey equalised for Leverkusen in the 53rd minute, before Sven Bender scored his first home goal for the club with a scissors-kick volley to complete the comeback.
