Cavani crosses 100 goals in Ligue 1 as Mbappe sets 40-year best!

Paris Saint-Germain continue to lay down the marker in Ligue 1 and it’s thanks to their two lethal frontmen in Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe that they’re topping the charts this term. The duo were on target once again in PSG’s 5-0 win at Angers, with Cavani’s brace seeing him to a century of goals in France’s top-flight, making him the third player of the last 20 years to score 100 goals and more in two of Europe’s top five leagues. Meanwhile, Mbappe’s double also means he’s the youngest player to have reached 20 Ligue 1 goals in the last 40 years.
