Cerezo Osaka won the club's first ever silverware as they beat Kawasaki Frontale 2-0 in the J League Cup Final.Cerezo took just 50 seconds to surge into the lead when Eduardo bungled a clearance, leaving Kenyu Sugimoto to pounce and score. The second goal came 90 minuutes later in stoppage time, with Souza coolly dribbling around the keeper to poke the ball into the net.
