Napoli 2-1 AC Milan: Vindicated Insigne stars for Partenopei

Napoli recorded a 2-1 victory against AC Milan to move four points clear of Juventus temporarily. Lorenzo Insigne, who was left on the substitutes bench for Italy against Sweden, vindicated himself by scoring the opener on 33 minutes with his fourth Serie A goal of the season. Insigne was a constant threat on the left flanks, creating numerous chances before Piotr Zielinski doubled Napoli's tally on 73 minutes. Alessio Romagnoli pulled one back for Milan with a rocket shot in the 91st minute of stoppage time, but it was too late.
