Celtic 0-1 Anderlecht: Unlucky OG gifts Belgians first points


Anderlecht finally earned their first points in Group B of the Champions League with a 1-0 win over Celtic, but they needed an own goal from defender Jozo Simunovic, who accidentally headed the ball into his own net in the 62nd minute. It was still not enough for the Belgian club to overtake Celtic for the third-place Europa League spot, as Brendan Rodgers's men have a superior head-to-head record over Anderlecht thanks to their 3-0 win back in September.
