Courageous Renato Tapia leads Feyenoord to first UCL points!

Renato Tapia was our man of the match for Feyenoord as they finally earned their first points of this season's Champions League with a 2-1 home win over Napoli in Group F. When Piotr Zielinski smashed in a loose ball after two minutes, it looked like the Eredivisie side were headed for a sixth defeat in a row in the group. But Tapia refused to lay down and made a stunning clearance in front of goal off the toe of Marek Hamsik to prevent the Napoli man from doubling his side's advantage in the 19th minute. Feyenoord would then equalise in the 33rd minute through Nicolai Joergensen before Tapia flicked the ball on for Jerry St. Juste to head in the winner in the 91st minute.
