Marseille 3-0 St Etienne: Germain finally on target with brace

Marseille maintained their fine run of form with a 3-0 home victory against St Etienne to move level on points with second-placed Lyon in the Ligue 1 standings. Summer signing Valere Germain finally scored his first goals for the club with a brace on the 11th and 71st minutes. The visitors were reduced to 10 men when Ronael Pierre-Gabriel was sent off for a last-man foul, before Lucas Ocampos netted Marseille's third on 80 minutes with a sweet curler.
