Demoralised Dortmund sack Peter Bosz after Bremen loss

Borussia Dortmund have sacked manager Peter Bosz following their 2-1 home defeat to Werder Bremen, replacing him with former Cologne boss Peter Stoger. A disappointing run of eight Bundesliga matches without a victory, and Dortmund's failure to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages after finishing third in their group, was enough for the club to terminate Bosz after less than six months in charge.
