St Etienne 0-4 Monaco: Lemar shows why he's wanted in Europe

Monaco defeated 10-man St Etienne 4-0 on Friday night to move within six points of leaders Paris Saint-Germain. Djibril Sidibe fired Monaco into an early lead in the third minute, and Thomas Lemar made it 2-0 with a superb solo effort, avoiding the St Etienne defence to power home a low finish. St Etienne's hopes of a comeback were crushed on 53 minutes when goalkeeper Stephane Ruffier was shown a straight red card for aggressively protesting Monaco's third goal, which was poked in by Fabinho. Keita Balde grabbed the fourth goal seven minutes later to seal the easy win.
