Bayern 2-1 Dortmund: Die Roten triumph again in DFB Pokal

Bayern Munich survived a late comeback from Borussia Dortmund to win 2-1 and advance into the quarter-finals of the DFB Pokal. This was the seventh consecutive season that Bayern and Dortmund have met in the DFB Pokal, and Jerome Boateng gave Die Roten the lead on 12 minutes, before Thomas Muller made it 2-0 with a cool lobbed shot from a tight angle. Andriy Yarmolenko pulled one back on 78 minutes from Shinji Kagawa's delightful assist, but Dortmund could not find the equaliser as the reigning cup holders were knocked out.
