10-man Standard Liege fall to Kortijk on horrible muddy pitch

Uche Agbo saw red for Standard Liege early on and that ultimately proved costly as the former giants fell 2-1 at Kortrijk. In a game played on an unacceptable muddy surface, the referee came into the spotlight first sending off Agbo before granting Standard a controversial penalty, but the hosts ultimately made their numerical superiority count as Jeremy Perbet fired home the winner.
