Down but not out: Vietnam reach U-23 final despite opening loss!

Vietnam are through to the final of the AFC Under-23 Championships despite losing their opening game, though they can count themselves unlucky to have lost 2-1 to South Korea.The South East Asian country took the shock lead in the 17th minute when Nguyen Quan Hai curled a beautiful goal in from the edge of the box. Cho Young-Wook equalised in the 30th minute on the counter attack, but Korea wasted a chance to take the lead when Yoon Seung-won chipped a penalty straight at the keeper.Lee Keun-ho sealed the win with 17 minutes left, heading home a free kick for the second goal. But despite the dampener of losing their first outing, Vietnam have gone on from strength to strength to reach the final against Uzbekistan!
