Girona 6-0 Las Palmas: Olunga makes history with hat-trick!

Girona's Michael Olunga became the first Kenyan to score a hat-trick in La Liga as he fired his team to a best-ever 6-0 result at home against Las Palmas on Saturday. Cristian Stuani's penalty had given Girona the 1-0 lead at half-time but the Uruguayan was replaced by Olunga at the start of the second half because of an injury. Olunga's physical presence completely threw the Las Palmas defence out and he had an influence on all five of Girona's second half strikes including scoring three himself. Olunga, aged 23, is on loan at Girona from Chinese club Guizhou Hengfeng.
