Eintracht Frankfurt moved up to second in the Bundesliga table temporarily with a 2-0 home win over Borussia Monchengladbach. Kevin-Prince Boateng opened the scoring for the hosts on 43 minutes, and Thorgan Hazard had the best chance to equalise for Gladbach from the penalty spot, but he sent his spot-kick crashing into the crossbar. Luka Jovic put the result beyond doubt with a good finish in the 92nd minute of stoppage time.
