AC Milan 2-1 Lazio: Lulic sitter dooms Champions League hopefuls

AC Milan could yet qualify for the Champions League after seeing off Lazio 2-1. The resurgent Rossoneri are seven points behind Inter Milan in fourth place in Serie A following their result against Simone Inzaghi’s high-flying visitors, but that was only thanks to the mercy shown by the Biancoceleste in front of goal. Luis Alberto was denied a spectacular effort by the crossbar and Senad Lulic contrived to miss from three yards, meaning strikes from Patrick Cutrone and Giacomo Bonaventura were enough to win it for Milan.
