Juventus 2-2 Tottenham: Buffon to blame as Spurs roar back in charge

Juventus surrendered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Tottenham in the first-leg of their Champions League knockout tie. Gonzalo Higuain had got on the scoresheet twice within the first nine minutes to score the fastest brace by a Bianconeri player in Europe’s elite club competition. But two mistakes at the back by captain Gianluigi Buffon - the first particularly inexcusable given how he let Harry Kane round him for Spurs first - allowed Tottenham to bring two away goals back to Wembley ahead of the return encounter.
