Bayern 5-0 Besiktas: Lewy demolishes 10-man Black Eagles

Bayern Munich are virtually assured of a Champions League quarter-final spot after thrashing 10-man Besiktas 5-0 in the first-leg of the last-16. Robert Lewandowski was the decisive factor for Bayern, earning the foul which got Domagoj Vida sent off with a straight red card on 16 minutes. The Black Eagles hung on, but could not withstand the eventual Bayern onslaught when Thomas Muller broke the deadlock on 43 minutes.
