Cavani no longer in Neymar's shadow as he leads PSG charge

Edinson Cavani may have played down all talk of a feud with Paris Saint-Germain co-star Neymar, but he still will be glad to once again be the Ligue 1 leaders’ outright leader in attack once again following news of the Brazilian’s injury. Cavani was on target in PSG’s 3-0 Coupe de France mauling of Marseille meaning only Harry Kane has scored more goals than his 32 in all competitions this season amongst players in the top 5 leagues - a tally that is only set to increase now that Les Parisiens’ record goalscorer is back on penalty duties.
