Porto 2-1 Sporting: Coentrao involved in bizarre touchline row!

FC Porto survived a stern test on and off the pitch from rivals Sporting Lisbon to keep their bid for a first Portuguese league title in five seasons on track with a 2-1 win at home. Both teams went in level at the break after a tense first half which ended with Rafael Leao slotting the ball through the legs of Iker Casillas to cancel out Ivan Marcano earlier opener. But Porto got the goal they needed to open an eight point lead at the top when Yacine Brahimi powered the ball into the roof of the Sporting net four minutes into the second half. With tensions running high, Sporting defender Fabio Coentrao got into an altercation with ground staff after trying to retrieve the ball - replays showed him being shoved by a staff member. This created a melee that eventually saw the referee sending two members of the ground staff to the stands.
