Leipzig 2-1 Zenit: Werner stars but Criscito gives hope with wondrous FK!

RB Leipzig defeated Zenit St Petersburg 2-1 in the first-leg of their Europa League last-16 tie, thanks to the performance of Timo Werner. Bruma put the hosts ahead on 56 after a brilliant backheel assist from Werner, before Werner got on the scoresheet with a clinical lob over the Zenit keeper. Zenit captain Domenico Criscito netted a vital away goal for his team with a superb free-kick in the 86th minute to give the Russian side a chance at a comeback in the second leg.
