Augsburg 1-3 Bremen: Belfodil brace & assist, Khedira opens account


Algerian forward Ishak Belfodil starred with two goals and one assist to help Werder Bremen beat Augsburg 3-1. Belfodil opened the scoring in the fifth minute with a solo effort, and grabbed his brace in the 40th minute to give Bremen a 2-0 lead. Sami Khedira's brother Rani pulled one back for Augsburg with his first Bundesliga goal on 63 minutes, but Max Kruse made sure of the win for Bremen in the 82nd minute.
