Leipzig 2-1 Bayern: Upstarts celebrate Euro success v champs

RB Leipzig celebrated progressing to the quarter-finals of the Europa League by beating Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich 2-1. It may not be enough to halt the Bavarians’ relentless charge to another title, but it gives the Red Bull Arena a hint of a bright future ahead. Sandro Wagner opened the scoring for Bayern, but Leipzig boss Ralph Hasenhuttl will be heartened by the way his men responded through Naby Keita and Timo Werner strikes in either half.
