DC United 2-1 Colorado: Rooney nutmegs Howard for first MLS goal!

Wayne Rooney was on target with his first MLS goal to help DC United to a 2-1 win over the Colorado Rapids. Kellyn Acosta missed a penalty for the Rapids in the 26th minute when he struck the post, before Rooney opened the scoring on 33 minutes by nutmegging his old Manchester United teammate Tim Howard. Acosta would atone for his penalty miss with a deft lob on 82 minutes to equalise, only for teammate Niki Jackson to deflect in an own goal on 90 minutes to give DC the win.
